For her, these natural wonders were the purest form of luxury graceful, effortless, and enduring. But as she stepped into the world of fashion, she encountered a different reality. Luxury had become synonymous with excess grandiose displays that often concealed unsustainable practices. The industry celebrated beauty, but too often, this beauty came at the cost of the planet. This contradiction stayed with her.

Her perspective shifted over the years during her scuba diving trips with her family. Amidst the vibrant coral reefs, she witnessed first hand the delicate balance of life, how corals, though seemingly fragile, played a critical role in sustaining entire ecosystems. Determined to build a brand that echoed the harmony of coral reefs, Seema embarked on a journey of discovery. She dived into research and came across various eco printers across the globe. Captivated, she dedicated herself to mastering the art of sustainable craftsmanship, experimenting with natural dyes, and perfecting techniques like eco-printing and bundle dyeing.

She started Coral by Seema, building a team from the ground up in Mumbai, sharing her knowledge and training her artisans with the skills she had honed herself. Seema's vision for label was clear, sustainability would not be a trend but an intrinsic part, seamlessly woven into the brand's luxury narrative.Her designs would offer understated elegance, where sustainability enhances, not compromises luxury.
